#71: CHANGE YOUR ATTITUDE, CHANGE YOUR LIFE!

Attitude is a feeling or emotion towards a fact or state. Your attitude is what causes the drama in your life, so in essence it is the architect of the quality of your life. If you want to change your life, try changing your attitude.

Perspective is how you view life, attitude is about how you feel about what you see. You cannot control the circumstances of your life, and you are continually in charge of your attitude.

(story from my book, LEAVE YOUR BAGGAGE AT THE DOOR). “Scott worked at UPS during one Christmas holiday. He hated the experience and had been constantly complaining for a week. In the middle of a diatribe he turned to me saying, ‘And the question in your mind, dear mother, is what are you going to do about it?’

Several days letter our UPS guy delivered a package and said, ‘Your son has the whole UPS building sounding like a Disney movie. Everyone is singing!” I laughed remembering that Scott had asked to borrow some tapes from the olden days, like Andy Williams and Elvis. Olden days, indeed.”

You cannot control all the circumstances of your life, and you are in charge of your attitude.
